The Heijo Palace is a whopping (710m) large.

The Heijo Palace is now being steadily rebuilt.

Currently, three huge buildings stand in the park at the Heijo Palace ruins.

(Suzaku Gate, Daigoku Gate, and Daigokuden)

Construction is still ongoing, and it's a grand plan to build Rashomon over the next 100 years?

There are also many museums on the premises, so you can enjoy them all day long. (And they're all free!)

Why not take a bird's-eye view of life through the passage of 1300 years of time?
