Nara Park and Playful Deer in Spring: The Sweet Burden of Being Chased for Deer Crackers

Stepping into Nara Park, I was instantly charmed! Herds of adorable deer leisurely strolled across the grass, and upon spotting visitors holding deer crackers, they would approach with innocent, wide-eyed gazes. Some even cleverly bow their heads to ask for food, their antics irresistibly cute. I bought a stack of crackers and immediately became the most popular person in the park, surrounded by enthusiastic deer. They gently nudged my hand with their noses, the moist touch both surprising and delightful. Remember to hide the crackers and feed them in batches, or these clever creatures will follow you persistently! Under the warm spring sun, with the majestic Todai-ji Temple behind me and these lovable animals in front, the harmonious scene of humans and nature became the most heartwarming memory of my Kansai trip.
