📍 Todai-ji Temple Review

This place is so impressive that it could be considered the highlight of my Nara trip. ⛩️ As you leisurely stroll through Nara Park, deer roam freely, and at the end of the path, the majestic Todai-ji Temple comes into view. 🦌 When I first saw it, I was awestruck by the sheer scale of the building.

The main hall houses the Nara Daibutsu (Great Buddha), which is truly breathtaking. The statue is over 15 meters tall, and up close, each and every detail comes alive. The quiet interior, filled with the scent of incense and wood, creates a strangely peaceful atmosphere. 🙏 The building itself retains the beauty of traditional wooden architecture, making every photo look like a painting.

Admission is 600 yen for adults, but it's well worth it. The grounds are expansive, so I recommend taking plenty of time to explore. Especially in the morning, there are fewer tourists, allowing for a much quieter and more leisurely experience.🌿
