Come make a wish! Kofuku-ji Temple Central Guanyin Hall [Ichimon Guanyin Hall]

You may visit religious relics at Kofuku-ji Temple, but you may not know anything about the Ishin Kannon Hall. There is a Goshuin Temple to the north of Minami-en-do, and Isgon Kannon-dō is a Buddhist temple belonging to that Kozen-in Temple. It comes from the Japanese saying "Make a wish and Guanyin Bodhisattva will grant it", so it is called "Issue Guanyin Hall". Ikkotsu Kannon Hall is listed as one of the seven major Kannon holy sites along the route, along with Nigatsu-dō Hall in Todai-ji Temple, Yagi Kannon Temple, Yagi Kokubunji Temple, Hase Hase Temple, and Okagaoka Temple. Here you can buy wish candles, light them and pray, or use incense sticks to pray for blessings. Whether it is health, peace and recovery, studies, career, love, or to the ancestors... all can be satisfied. When you come to Nara Kofukuji, please remember to make a wish.
