Eel in Narita is famous, and there are many eel restaurants along the approach to Naritasan, but Kawatoyo Honten is the most popular among them!

To avoid crowding, they don't line up, but hand out numbered tickets, tell you how many hours you'll have to wait, and then come back at that time.
The restaurant has table seats on the first floor and tatami rooms up a steep staircase to the second floor, so it's a restaurant with a very historic feel.
