A trip to enjoy autumn leaves and gourmet food

Day 2 of a 2-day trip to Nasu

📍10:20 Chaya Usaburo
Opens at 11:00, but by 10:20 there was a waiting list of 20 people.
The first parking lot was full before opening.🅿️
I went on a weekday, but reservations closed before 12:00.
You can also take home delicious steamed rice.😊

📍12:30 Komadome Falls
A blue waterfall surrounded by autumn leaves.
One of Nasu's three most famous sights.

📍13:00 Nasu Kogen Observatory
A sacred place for lovers.
A spectacular spot on the middle slopes of the Nasu Mountains, where you can also enjoy the night view.

📍13:30 Azalea Suspension Bridge
A bridge leading to a famous azalea spot.
A spectacular spot overlooking Mt. Chausu.

📍14:00 Sessho Stone
A pristine landscape of the Oku no Hosomichi
A place where a stone said to kill living creatures is located

📍2:30 PM Nasu Onsen Shrine
A shrine in the hot spring town of Nasu
Blessed with blessings for love and good health

📍3:00 PM Shikanoyu
Day-trip bathing in a privately-sourced hot spring
You can return to Sessho Stone via Onsen Shrine → Shikanoyu

📍3:30 PM Sweet Castle
With a wide selection of famous sweets, it's perfect as a souvenir.
They also offer factory tours and day-trip hot springs.

This weekend is a three-day weekend, so please check it out if you'd like! 🤗
