The Nerja Caves were like stepping into an underground cathedral. Massive stalactites and stalagmites filled the chambers, some reaching incredible heights. The sense of scale was overwhelming — nature’s artwork carved over millennia. The main hall even hosts concerts thanks to its amazing acoustics. Knowing that prehistoric paintings were discovered here made it even more fascinating. Walking through the dimly lit paths, I felt both humbled and amazed by the hidden beauty beneath the earth. Nerja’s beaches above are stunning, but these caves are its true secret treasure. #mytraveldiary
