Fortunately, with the guidance of my Taiwanese friends, we reached 9 points and 10 points! Shifen Old Street is the birthplace of sky lanterns and can be regarded as the earliest and largest settlement in Pingxi’s mining history. Shifen Old Street coexists and is connected to the railway tracks. Not only does it have the unique railway style of "trains passing in front of the door", it is also a popular filming location for singers' music videos and movies. Today, the old street still retains its old architectural style, with restaurants and sky lantern handicraft shops lined up, showing new vitality. The unique terrain has many small houses and shops built against the mountains, as well as many teahouses and traditional snack shops, which are full of human touch and customs! Near the old Shifen train station, you can even release sky lanterns! It’s also fun to pray for family and friends!
