Shifen Waterfall...near Taipei...

As I crossed the bridge alongside the train tracks, the sound of the train faded away, and I heard a sound from beyond the seemingly insignificant river.
Finally arriving at the waterfall and looking down, I was quite surprised by the unexpected sight.
The waterfall was much more spectacular than I expected. With a drop of 20 meters and a width of 40 meters, it's called the Niagara Falls of Taiwan.
This area was previously off-limits, but since it opened to the public in 2015, it's become a popular tourist destination.
If you follow the trail around the waterfall, you'll find great photo spots.
