Taipei Attractions｜Pingxi Shifen Waterfall💚

Jiufen Old Street and Shifen Waterfall, these two are attractions that you must have heard of even if you haven't been there.

People who go to Jiufen Old Street generally won't miss the waterfalls and sky lanterns in Shifen. (Although there is a lot of controversy about the environmental pollution caused by sky lanterns, I believe that many tourism industries are also closely related to the environment. You can just make your own judgment.)

Shifen Waterfall is only 15-20 minutes away from the parking lot. There is a suspension bridge at the entrance. When tourists walk across the suspension bridge, if the collective movements are big, the suspension bridge will shake constantly, which suddenly brings some excitement to those who are walking calmly on the bridge.😂

After walking across the suspension bridge, you will pass by the market on the shopping street. If you feel thirsty or tired after a long journey, you can eat barbecue, snacks and drink juice before continuing. It doesn’t matter. The waterfall will not move.🙈

If you stand on the fence at a close distance, the water of the waterfall will float over your face and feel cool.😆. However, there are many tourists who want to see the waterfall up close. You can continue to walk up the stairs to the viewing platform of the waterfall. You can see the spectacular scenery of the waterfall in all directions.

Looking at the waterfall for a while is a very relaxing thing.

If time permits, you can continue to go up. There are stairs, which require some physical strength. Remember to wear comfortable shoes. (Even if you don’t climb stairs, you still need comfortable shoes, after all, the distance to walk is long. 🙈)

If time does not allow or you are joining a one-day tour, it is okay to go back.

1-🚄Train: Taipei Main Station - "Ruifang" or "Badu" Station, transfer to Taiwan Railway and get off at "Shifen" Station.

Take the Taiwan Railways from Songshan Railway Station and get off at Shifen Station.

2-🚇MRT+🚌Bus

Take Taipei MRT Station and get off at "Mushan" Station, then transfer to Taipei Bus (Taiwan Express) Route 795 (Taiwan Express Mushan Pingxi Line) and get off at Shifen Tourist Center.

3-Join the Jiufen Shifen Pingxi one-day tour group. (The tour bus will take you directly to the tourist attractions, but the stay time is limited🚫)

4- One-day tour by chartered car.
