【New Taipei Attractions｜Taiwan’s Northernmost Lighthouse & Sea Cave Landscape】

Do you know what is the northernmost point of Taiwan?
That is the #Fuguijiao Lighthouse located in Shimen District, New Taipei City.
This is the northernmost lighthouse on the main island of Taiwan.
If you want to drive yourself, you can drive to the entrance of Fugui Cape Park, where there is parking space.

From the entrance, you will pass through a maze.
There is also a trail leading to Laomei Beach.
The green stone trough at Laomei Beach is one of the eight secret places in Taiwan.
But if you want to see it, you have to wait until March to May.

The trail to Fugui Cape Lighthouse is along the coastline and has beautiful scenery.
The flat road takes about 13 minutes.
Therefore, it is quite suitable for children and the elderly to go on an outing.
The black and white octagonal lighthouse is quite eye-catching under the blue sky.

The lighthouse is open to visitors for free.
The museum is closed on Mondays due to internal maintenance.
But there is no way to enter the lighthouse itself.
So we could only take pictures and enjoy the scenery.
You can go into the air-raid bunker to experience it, but be careful not to hit your head.

There is another scenic spot near Fuguijiao Lighthouse.
It is a 10-minute drive from the Fugui Cape Park parking lot.
Sea cave landscape #Shimen Cave is the most famous representative attraction in Shimen District, New Taipei City.

A sea cave is a cave formed by the erosion of sea water.
It is shaped like an arch. Right next to a busy road,
There are also stairs leading up the arch to see the sea.
