Windy Views at Fugui Cape Lighthouse

#chinatravel Fugui Cape Lighthouse is a cool little spot to explore if you’re into coastal views and open skies. I went on a breezy afternoon and it felt super refreshing, like the perfect break from city life. The lighthouse itself is simple and classic, sitting at the northernmost point of Taiwan.

You can’t go inside, but walking around the area is nice and peaceful. There’s a paved trail that runs along the coast and the views of the ocean crashing into the rocky shore are pretty awesome. The wind is strong so hold on to your hat, but it adds to the whole experience. It’s not a big touristy place which makes it feel more local and relaxed.

Bring water, sunscreen, and your camera because the light and sea together look great. If you’re in the mood for a chill coastal walk with a lighthouse photo op, Fugui Cape is totally worth the trip.
