Teapot Mountain with a panoramic sea view can be reached in just 20 minutes?

Teapot Mountain without handles is located on the eastern side of the Jinguashi settlement in Ruifang District. The trail is about 4.5 kilometers long and takes about 2 hours to complete. It was once a major mining site in the area, but has now transformed into a famous suburban trail in Greater Taipei, attracting countless visitors to pilgrimage.

At the top of the mountain, the stacked boulders look like a teapot without a handle when viewed from the nearby Banping Mountain, hence the name "Teapot Mountain without handles." At the end of the uphill stairs, you will first see the first pavilion, "Chaobao Pavilion." Here you can take a break and enjoy the spectacular views of Keelung Mountain and the Yin-Yang Sea.

The Teapot Mountain trail is only 166 meters long and 260 meters high, making it the shortest sea view trail in the Northeast Coast. It takes only about 20 minutes to walk to enjoy the 360-degree unobstructed sea and sky view. (The road to Teapot Mountain has been paved with asphalt, so you can drive up the mountain if you prefer a lazy way.)

A leisurely walk on the trail should be paired with delicious food. After finally booking a private island (Mykonos Cafe) scenic restaurant, I ordered the seasonal limited squid pasta set, which is hearty and you can enjoy the sea view while eating!
