Twilight Reflections by the Tamsui River

The Tamsui River at dusk glows with a golden hue, quietly flowing through the northwest of Taipei. The river's surface, like a mirror, reflects the blue sky, white clouds, and the beautiful scenery of ancient buildings and modern skyscrapers on both banks. I stroll along the riverside path, feeling the gentle breeze on my face and listening to the soft lapping of the water against the shore, as if it is whispering tales of time.
At this moment, as the sun sets, the colors along the river become softer, creating a naturally harmonious scene that makes one pause in admiration. In the distance, the old streets of Tamsui and Fisherman's Wharf faintly reveal traces of their former prosperity. Occasionally, a boat glides by, breaking the river's surface and leaving ripples in its wake. This body of water carries the long history and culture of the Taiwanese people, with every drop seemingly whispering stories of the land's past and future. Standing by the river, I can't help but marvel at how the Tamsui River is not just a river, but a river of memories, closely linking the past and the present.
