Jiufen is a small mountain town in northern Taiwan, about an hour from Taipei. It's usually accessible by bus, taxi, or train/bus transfer from downtown Taipei.🚗

As soon as you enter, you'll see narrow, winding alleys and stone steps glistening with rainwater, lined with traditional teahouses and street food stalls.

The rain seemed to have reduced the number of tourists, but it was still bustling with people holding umbrellas. I folded my umbrella, put on my raincoat, and took a leisurely stroll down the street.

The red lanterns dripping with raindrops created a subtle atmosphere even during the day, and the warm aroma of food wafting from the stalls was even more alluring!

Jiufen is a mountain village, so its weather can change frequently. After the rain, the thick fog envelops the area, creating an even more mystical atmosphere. Especially in the alleyway where A-Mei Tea House is located, the wet stone steps and dim red lanterns looked like a scene from a movie.😆

At first, I was worried about the rain, but the rain actually deepened the atmosphere of Jiufen and made it even more charming. Walking through the alleyways with the sound of rain, the damp red lanterns, and the warm food... everything came together to create an unforgettable experience!!
