Introduction: Lin Benyuan Garden Residence is located in Banqiao District, New Taipei City. It was built by the Lin Benyuan family in Banqiao. It was designed in imitation of Suzhou's Liuyuan Garden and is the only remaining complete garden building in Taiwan. The residence can be traced back to 1847, when it was a rented house by the Lin Benyuan family when they moved north. It was later expanded by the brothers Lin Guohua and Lin Guofang and became the residence of the Lin Benyuan family. In 1976, the Lin Benyuan family donated part of the garden to the then Taipei County Government (now the New Taipei City Government). The garden was opened to the public for a fee after its first restoration in 1986. The second restoration period was from 1987 to 1991, and it was reopened on August 9, 1991. The three-story house was also restored in July 1991 and opened to the public in conjunction with the garden. Currently, the Lin Benyuan Residence is under the maintenance and renovation of the New Taipei City Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau, and is a national historic site of the residence type. The administrative unit is under the New Taipei City Government's Cultural Affairs Bureau, which maintains daily operations with a single manpower and budget.

Comments: Banqiao Lin Family Garden is already a well-known tourist attraction in Taiwan, often attracting many foreign tourists to visit. The garden is antique and retains many retro features of the Qing Dynasty. It is a meaningful historical attraction and is also suitable for adults and children to travel together.
