Taiwan, starting from the north.

Day 1 in Taiwan.
Visit Yehliu Geopark to see the unique rock formations created naturally by seawater and wind erosion. While you can't touch them, you can admire many fascinating rocks, such as the Queen's Head and Candle Rock. The rocks are impressive, but the crystal-clear seawater is equally astonishing.

Nearby, you can explore Jinshan Old Street, famous for its sweet potatoes, and enjoy sweet potato ice cream.

After satisfying your appetite, head to Shifen Waterfall to soak in the refreshing negative ions and cool off. Then, take a stroll through Shifen Old Street, where you can watch the sky filled with colorful lanterns, each representing different wishes.

Next, visit Zhengbin Fishing Port's Rainbow Houses, a vibrant project initiated by young people to brighten up the area during the pandemic. You can also check out the nearby shipyard ruins.

Before evening, arrive at Jiufen to relax with a cup of tea while waiting for sunset. Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of the world of "Spirited Away."

Considering the time and cost, it might be challenging to complete this itinerary using only buses and trains. Joining a tour might be a better option.
