Shifen Waterfall is located in Pingxi District, New Taipei City. This largest curtain waterfall in Taiwan is also nicknamed "Taiwan's Nicaragua Falls". Shifen Waterfall is located in the upper reaches of Keelung River. The waterfall has a drop of about 20 meters in height and a width of about 40 meters. When there is enough water, it flows down from the top of the waterfall with great momentum. The observation deck is the best place to view the waterfall and the best angle to take photos.
