[Yingge Ceramics Old Street] Come and enjoy ceramics and tea to the fullest!

Yingge is about a 30-minute train ride from Taipei. 🍵

With no transfers, you can walk directly from the station to Yingge Ceramics Old Street, lined with charming shops. 🫖
*You might enjoy it more if you visit the Ceramics Museum first.

・I want some cute tableware for everyday use
・I want a complete set of Taiwanese tea utensils (they also sell tea trays and bamboo products)
・I want a Taiwanese souvenir
・I want some cool stonework
・I want some incense and incense sticks
・I want to experience pottery with my whole body
・I want to try pottery making in Taiwan
・I want to feel the local atmosphere

If you're looking for these things, be sure to stop by.

You can enjoy both new and traditional creations.

Since returning to Japan, I've been playing a water-filled flute in my room and drinking Taiwanese tea in a Yingge teapot.

Oh, I also burn some incense.

The room smells like wood. It seems to have scared away the mosquitoes.
*The flute's sound is quite loud, so try playing it during the day. 🦜

Approximate location: Jianshanpu Road, Yingge District, New Taipei City
*Business hours vary by shop, so be sure to check before you go.
*If you visit this shop after the museum, you might end up browsing for a while and before you know it, it's already evening, so it's best to start your stroll early in the day.
