A popular restaurant with a long history, this local favorite boasts more seafood than rice for its incredibly popular clay pot porridge. 🍲 This time, we ate at the Minquan branch and ordered one of their signature dishes, the Hokkaido Raw-Grade Scallop Porridge (Hokkaido Raw-Grade Scallops + Sand Prawns + Shredded Scallops + Pork Meatballs + Nut Sauce + Celery + Ginger + Preserved Vegetables). The toppings are incredibly generous! ✨ The porridge is cooked fresh upon order, requiring a 15-minute wait. The freshly cooked porridge is incredibly fragrant and flavorful, with the soft, glutinous rice grains bursting with umami, creating a truly blissful experience. We also ordered spicy preserved eggs, salted egg bitter melon, and typhoon shelter crab, and complimentary hot tea was provided at the table. The porridge portion can be adjusted to suit the number of people, making it perfect for two.
