
Yangming Park, located at 154 Yangming Road in Nanchang , covers approximately 1.7 hectares, with 9,080 square meters of green space and 65,480 seedlings. The park is divided into six areas : a shaded rest area, an activity center for veteran cadres, a senior university activity area, and a comprehensive performing arts area , making it a great place for leisurely strolls.
On the west side of the park, a large relief wall depicts the legendary life of Wang Yangming in Nanchang during the Ming Dynasty. Designed by the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the granite wall, 2.5 meters high and 25 meters long , consists of eight panels. From his marriage in Nanchang at the age of 17 until his death in Dayu, Jiangxi in 1529, Wang Yangming forged an indissoluble bond with both Jiangxi and Nanchang .
