Yehliu Geopark is a renowned natural attraction in Taiwan, located in the northern part of New Taipei. From Taipei Main Station, you can take bus number 1815 and get off at the Yehliu stop. The park is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an entrance fee required.
One of the main activities at Yehliu is studying the uniquely shaped rocks, which have been sculpted by seawater erosion. These include formations like Candle Rock, Mushroom Rock, Elephant Rock, Fairy Shoe Rock, Ice Cream Rock, and the highlight of the park—the Queen's Head Rock. The Queen's Head Rock, resembling the profile of a queen, is the most popular spot for photos, often with long queues of visitors waiting for their turn.
Situated by the sea and on a cliff, the area is often windy, so visitors are advised to walk carefully.
