Taiwan's second hydroelectric power plant, the Guishan Power Plant in Xindian, is still in operation. The welfare store next to the power plant sells Taipower popsicles, which are very famous. The long lines alone give you a sense of how popular the Guishan Power Plant's popsicles are.

The Guishan Power Plant was built in 1939 and completed in 1941. It is located near the Taipei Feicui Reservoir Management Bureau.
