Houtong Cat Village features a cat-themed cafe street called "Cat Corridor," which is lined with several cafes, each with a unique cat-themed theme.

Café 217 is not only adorable and cozy, but also has a friendly owner, the in-house cat, Tangbao, who frequently visits the shop.

The shop offers coffee, fruit tea, and pancakes (with cute cat-shaped latte art) and also sells cat-themed merchandise. The walls are covered in coaster artwork and messages left by tourists, lending it a youthful and artistic feel.

The meal was excellent. I recommend the fruit tea (perfectly sweet and sour) and the crispy pancakes.

Transportation: Take the Taiwan Railway to Houtong Station. From there, walk toward the Cat Village.
