Direct access to the Nantianmen Gate of Tianting in New Taipei, Taiwan, and the majestic archway of Shengde Temple on Dajian Mountain in Xizhi.

Located in Xizhi, New Taipei City, it's about a half-hour drive from Nangang MRT Station. It's located midway up Dajianshan Mountain, with signs along the way.

The large archway in front of the main hall of Shengde Temple is a popular photo spot for Instagrammers. The backdrop is a boundless, clear blue sky, reminiscent of the legendary Nantianmen Gate to heaven!

From the archway square, you can overlook Greater Taipei. On a clear day, you can even see Bali Guanyin Mountain and Linkou. Arrive at sunset to witness the setting sun and the vibrant clouds across the sky.

Stay until dusk to witness the dazzling lights of Taipei City, including the iconic Taipei 101!

For transportation, you can take a bus from the Nangang Exhibition Hall to the Xizhi District Office in New Taipei City, where a shuttle bus takes you up the mountain. Alternatively, you can drive. There's a parking lot in front of the temple, making it convenient to ride a motorcycle up the mountain.

After descending the mountain, you can stop by the Xizhi Tourist Night Market for some local snacks.
