Visited the famous restaurant for nasi lemak in Kuala Lumpur, and it was great! Nasi lemak is actually Malaysia’s national dish, with rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf, and served with sambal, anchovies, cucumber. We ordered the signature nasi lemak ayam goreng (fried chicken) and the chicken rendang ones. We love the fried chicken, it was well cooked with crisp on the outer layer, and tender on the inside, not too dry out! Sambal was nice, on the sweeter side, and I would generally prefer a spicier version of sambal. They are usually crowded, worth a try while you’re in Kuala Lumpur!
