Yehliu Geopark was seriously HOT when I visited—like, was my face melting or what? 🥵 Definitely pack plenty of water, trust me, you’ll need it!
A ton of spots were blocked off with ropes and hooks, so you can't wander everywhere. Heads up: Yehliu Geopark gets packed with tourists! Most people wait ages in line for a selfie with the famous Queen’s Head rock. TBH, I skipped that epic queue—didn’t seem worth it when there’s sooo many other cool rock formations you can check out without the hassle. The lesser-known stones are actually super interesting and make way better chill photo ops. 🌟
If you hate crowds, this spot might test your patience. Overall, Yehliu was fun to explore but maybe not the holy grail if you’re all about peace and quiet.
Address: No.167-1, Gangliu East Road, Wanli District, New Taipei City, Taiwan
Opening Hours: Daily from 08:00 to 17:00 (last admission at 17:00)
Admission: NT$120.00
Hot tip: Slide through early in the morning or late afternoon to dodge the crowds (and the crazy heat)!
