Bitoujiao Sea View Hiking Trail

For those who enjoy traveling to Taiwan, in addition to the city's shopping, Taipei also boasts numerous beautiful natural attractions. Today, we'd like to recommend another one: Bitoujiao Peninsula.

📍Location: Bitoujiao, Ruifang District, New Taipei City
🚌 Getting there: Easily accessible from Taipei, take the Taipei MRT to Ruifang Station and then take Bus 856 to the Bitoujiao stop.

Free!! No admission fee.

🕶️ What to bring: Umbrellas, raincoats (during the rainy season), hats, sunglasses, etc. Most importantly…water, as there are almost no vendors along the way. You'll have to come down to drink.

💪🏼Be prepared for a mountain trek. Although the distance is long and tiring, the entire journey is beautiful and worth it.

🌊Activities: Hiking, trekking, photography, enjoying the sea and mountain views, and enjoying the fresh air.

🕝 Hours: Open all day, but it's best to ascend and descend before dusk, as there are no lights at night and the trail becomes difficult and dangerous. Therefore, it's best to hike during the day until evening. Recommended visit period: October to April. The weather is perfect, not too hot, but there might be some rain.

✅Convenience: The walkway has stairs, making it easy and safe to walk, with a slight incline. We even met a Taiwanese grandma and grandpa walking around, lol. There's a resting area, perfect for those who only have a day and want to experience nature not too far from Taipei. You can go there in the morning and return in the evening.

Personally, this is one of my favorite places in Taiwan because it's easy to get to, convenient, and the view is beautiful. It's a real treat for taking photos. If you have free time, drop by and follow my footsteps.
