NYC was next level: epic views, iconic bridges, and those artsy city vibes 🤩🌃. Here’s my quick-hit guide to crushing a Midtown-to-Brooklyn day!
Must-See Places in New York:
Vessel (20 Hudson Yards): This futuristic honeycomb sculpture is Insta-famous for a reason! Open 11:00-19:00, tickets are $85—definitely reserve in advance if you want to climb. Try to visit earlier to beat the crowds and score clear skyline shots.
Hudson Yards: The area itself is a playground of stylish shops, food options, and art installations. Open 10:00-20:00 (Mon-Sat), 11:00-19:00 (Sun). Perfect spot for coffee pit stops or window-shopping with views.
Edge Observation Deck (30 Hudson Yards): Go sky-high at this glass-floored platform—the panoramic views are unreal! Open 09:00-22:00, tickets $238. Golden hour is pure magic, but sunset can get crowded—book your slot online!
Dumbo: Cross into Brooklyn and wander this artsy neighborhood—hello, #manhattanbridge photo ops (Brooklyn, NY 11201, open all day). Pair it with Brooklyn Bridge Park for that classic NYC skyline backdrop.
Brooklyn Bridge: Make the iconic walk from Manhattan and grab epic pics mid-span. Early morning or late evening is ideal to avoid crowds and catch dreamy light.
Where to Stay: Courtyard New York Manhattan/Midtown West (461 W 34th St) is a game changer—super clean, spacious rooms (rare here!), surprisingly quiet, and less than 10 minutes’ walk to Hudson Yards. Staff are mostly friendly, plus there’s a 24-hour gym, laundry, and luggage storage for late check-outs.
Getting Around: Grab a $34 unlimited 7-day MetroCard for easy subway access. Walking between these spots is doable, just wear comfy shoes!
Food Rec: Try a bagel shop in Hudson Yards for breakfast, and head to Time Out Market in Dumbo for local eats with a view.
NYC is worth the hype—just pace yourself and soak in those city feels! #nycviews #hudsonyards #dumbo #travelhacks #triptips
