Ponagar Cham Towers is an ancient Hindu heritage site! The entrance fee is only 30,000 VND (approximately 1,500 KRW), making it affordable, but the experience is truly worthwhile.
Ponagar Temple was built during the Champa Kingdom era to honor the goddess Ponagar. This goddess is said to symbolize wealth and health, which is why many locals visit the site. It's a highly recommended destination where you can experience both history and culture!
The temple itself is grand and majestic, befitting an ancient heritage site. The unique brick architecture characteristic of the Champa Kingdom is fascinating and captivating. Although it’s a popular spot and can get crowded, it’s definitely worth a visit.
We visited around 10 AM, and if you go at this time, you can enjoy traditional performances within the temple. The performances, featuring traditional instruments and costumes, are brief but offer a genuine taste of Vietnamese culture.
The upper part of the temple is breezy, providing a refreshing break from the heat. The view is stunning, and the photos turn out beautifully. My parents found it incredibly interesting and were very satisfied with the visit.
If you're looking for a destination that combines culture, tradition, and scenery, Ponagar Temple is a must-visit spot.
