Wat Ton Kwen, or Wat Intharawat, is located on Soi 3, Nong Kwai Subdistrict, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province (near the Royal Park Rajapruek). Wat Ton Kwen is an ancient temple with a beautiful exterior. The temple grounds are shady and surrounded by palm trees, creating a mystical, ancient atmosphere. The tall palm trees are probably long-established. The ancient temple atmosphere, surrounded by these large palm trees, gives Wat Ton Kwen a truly authentic Lanna charm. It's no wonder it's been used as a filming location for numerous dramas. The architecture at Wat Ton Kwen is renowned for its exquisite Lanna architecture, recognized by the Association of Siamese Architects as an outstanding preserved building.

A brief history, but we came today to follow in the footsteps of Kasalong Songpeep. We'll be wearing Lanna costumes and taking photos. The costume rental shop is right in front of the temple for 150 baht. Dressing, shoes, and accessories are provided free of charge. Hair and makeup are provided.
