Not well known to Japanese people🏝️ Hon Tre Island, just off Nha Trang, is fun❣️

◾️Access
Hon Tre Island (also known as Vinpearl Island) is accessible from Nha Trang, Vietnam, by cable car or ferry. 🇻🇳
From Tokyo, the most common way to get to Nha Trang is via Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, but since Ho Chi Minh City Airport is very congested, we recommend transiting through Hanoi Airport. ❗️
From Nha Trang's Cam Ranh Airport, it's a 40-minute taxi ride to the port, and from there it's just a few minutes to Hon Tre Island.

◾️Island Information
⚫︎Environment
The island is covered in greenery, teeming with monkeys and small birds, and brimming with nature. The air was clearer than in real life, and the sky looked beautiful.
The main purpose of your stay will likely be to enjoy the hotel, the beach, and the Vinh Wonders amusement park.

⚫︎Island Transportation
The only means of transportation on the island is by hotel cart.
At first, I was hesitant to stay on Hon Tre because I thought it would be very inconvenient, especially since I'd have trouble finding food, but the carts ran frequently and were very convenient.

⚫︎Food on the Island
Restaurants are concentrated around the port.
As it's a tourist destination, I thought prices would be high and I didn't have high expectations, but to my surprise, I was able to eat fresh seafood for cheaper than in Nha Trang city.
I also recommend a restaurant along the waterfront to watch the sunset, but it was quite crowded, so I went to a seafood restaurant one street inward. This place was a great hit. It serves food right on the street. You can get a slight view of the ocean from the table seats, the breeze is pleasant, and the restrooms are clean, so I recommend it.

◾️Vin Wonders (Amusement Park & Pool)
⚫︎Tickets
If you're staying at a hotel on the island and your round-trip cable car fare is included in your room rate, purchasing tickets at the Vin Wonders entrance is likely the cheapest option.
(Tickets sold online often include the round-trip cable car fare, making them more expensive than the actual admission price.)

⚫︎Pool
The number and length of water slides is incredible. There were long lines after lunch, so I recommend going first thing in the morning.
The wave pool and lazy river weren't as impressive as I'd hoped, so it's probably best to focus on enjoying the water slides.
Most slides require a minimum height of 120cm, and there are strict height restrictions.

⚫︎Amusement Park
Popular attractions like the Zip Line and coasters had lines stretching nearly 30 minutes by the afternoon.
Compared to Japanese amusement parks, the thrills are relentless, making it incredibly exciting and fun. 😛

⚫︎Thoughts
Overall, the grounds are very vast and have many elevation changes, with pools, amusement parks, aquariums, and more scattered throughout. It really depends on your stamina.

I couldn't enjoy it all in one day, so next time I'll buy a two- or three-day pass.
A good strategy would be to enjoy it first thing in the morning, go to the pool on the first day, the amusement park on the second, and either the pool or the amusement park on the third day, depending on which you prefer.
Then, when it gets hot in the afternoon, relax at the hotel pool or beach.

Both water slides and amusement park attractions often have restrictions for children under 120 cm tall, so I think it's best for children in the third grade or above to fully enjoy it.

◾️ Hotel
There are four hotels on the island, but this time we stayed at the Marriott.
The round-trip cable car ride, including the ferry fare, is a fantastic deal at just ¥16,000 per night! Plus, if you leave the island for a meal, the cable car fare is free.
The round-trip cable car ride from the port is quite expensive, so I think it's more cost-effective for families of four or more to stay on the island.
