Rediscovering Vi Viet Quan

This restaurant reinterprets traditional Vietnamese home-cooked meals with a modern touch. The menu, designed like a magazine, was particularly impressive. On the cover, it read, "Each Vietnamese dish embodies a connection between culture and humanity," and after finishing my meal, I couldn't help but agree.
The seafood dishes were especially diverse. I ordered the **‘Tom Nuong Muoi Ot (Salt & Chili Grilled Shrimp, 220K)’** and **‘Hau Nuong 3 Vi (Oysters with 3 Flavors, 180K)’**. The shrimp was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a spicy aroma that awakened my taste buds. The oysters came with three different sauces, ranging from rich buttery flavors to slightly spicy ones, all harmonizing beautifully.
The overall ambiance was clean and warmly lit, making it comfortable even for solo diners. The staff were friendly and explained the menu well, so even those unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine wouldn't find it difficult.
📍 Location
Vi Viet Quan – Near Tran Phu Street in the heart of Nha Trang city, just a 5-minute walk from Nha Trang Center Shopping Mall. You can easily find it by searching "Vi Viet Quan Nha Trang" on map apps.
It's a great spot to quietly enjoy the local atmosphere while dining. The price range is around 170K–230K, which is reasonable considering the quality of the seafood. It's also closest to the Mercure Nha Trang Beach Hotel.
