[Recommended spot in Kinugawa] Fujiwaracho Gokoku Shrine

Kinugawa Onsen, Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. Gokoku Shrine and Onsen Shrine are located right next to the foot of the Kinugawa Ropeway. This is also a famous cherry blossom spot in Kinugawa Onsen, with Yoshino cherry trees of various shades blooming, turning the grounds pink. There was a little snow on the grounds the day we visited, but it was a very beautiful shrine. There is an Onsen Shrine at the top of the ropeway station, but there is also another one next to Gokoku Shrine. You can receive a goshuin at the Kinugawa Kawaji Onsen Tourist Information Center in front of Kinugawa Onsen Station. I visited after 3pm on a weekday, but there was no one there.
