I will introduce "Kinugawa Onsen" in Tochigi Prefecture.

From Asakusa, take the limited express train such as Spacia X and get off at Kinugawa Onsen Station, and you will be in Kinugawa Onsen town.

There is also a foot bath in front of the station.

The recommended activity in Kinugawa Onsen is the "Kinugawa Line Boat Trip." This is a boat that takes you down the Kinugawa River in 40 minutes. It leaves every 35 minutes, but it is better to make a reservation if possible.
Since it is a river boat trip, you will get splashed with water, but it is thrilling and very fun.
The captain will explain various spots along the Kinugawa River, so if you experience it beforehand, it will be useful for sightseeing afterwards!
If you go by car, the parking lot will be near the boarding point upstream, but after you go down, there is a shuttle bus that you can take to the parking lot.

Kinugawa is famous for the Kinu Tateiwa Suspension Bridge.
It is high and a little shaky, but the view of the Kinugawa River from the bridge is very beautiful. In summer, fireworks are set off at this bridge.

Another recommended lunch is the Wagyu beef curry from Asaya, a long-established hotel in Kinugawa. You can eat it at the restaurant "Wasai Kobo" inside the hotel. This curry is also available as a retort food, so it's sure to be delicious.
