Nikko World Heritage 🏯🎌

Nikko Toshogu Shrine is located in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. Built in 1617, it is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Tokugawa clan, a famous samurai leader during the Edo period. The shrine is also registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
