[Tochigi Prefecture] World Heritage Site "Nikko Toshogu Shrine" ⛩

Nikko Toshogu Shrine, a World Heritage Site in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture
I visited here for the first time since my elementary school trip🚶‍♂️

Nikko Toshogu Shrine, which enshrines Tosho Daigongen, the deification of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Shogunate, is decorated with gorgeous and luxurious carvings in brilliant colors, such as the three monkeys of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" and the "sleeping cat"👀

It's also famous as one of Japan's leading power spots, so I went there for the first time in a while👍

It's a place where you can feel the history and experience Japan's World Heritage Site while surrounded by nature😌
It's a must-see when you go to Nikko🏃‍♂️

🚌: From JR Nikko Station or Tobu Nikko Station

Take Tobu Bus bound for Nikko Chuzenji Onsen or Yumoto Onsen

Get off at Shinkyo and walk for 8 minutes

Get off at Omotesando and walk for 2 minutes

Get off at Nishi-sando and walk for 9 minutes

🚗: Take Tohoku Expressway Utsunomiya IC → Nikko Utsunomiya Road

Approximately 2km from Nikko IC
