This Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nikko really refreshed my impression of accommodation in Nikko!

👉 The room is bigger than expected, the mattress is super comfortable to sleep on, the curtains are great for blackout, and I slept very well for 3 consecutive nights. The water pressure in the shower is super powerful, and the shower is super comfortable. The toilet is also designed as an independent room, which is super considerate!
👉 **The biggest surprise is the public kitchen**! Free coffee is available at any time, and you can also use the microwave and oven to heat up the famous Nikko store bread for breakfast. There are also many choices of snacks and drinks in the mini shop, so it’s very comfortable to eat without a restaurant.
👉 The location is about 2 kilometers away from Tobu Nikko Station, **the shuttle bus is free** (the front desk helps to call a taxi super fast), and self-driving parking is also free, which is super suitable for running attractions.
The only drawback is that there are no hot springs and restaurants, but the overall clean and new (opened in 2021), the service is friendly, and the **cost-effectiveness is really pushed**! ✨
