Located in Beixi Village, Kushan Town, Yongchun County, Quanzhou Beixi Wenyuan Tourist Scenic Area is Quanzhou's first ecotourism scenic area and a National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site. Located along the Quansan Expressway, it's a 60-minute drive from downtown Quanzhou and Jinjiang Airport, offering convenient transportation. Covering an area of 3.4 square kilometers and boasting a construction area of 20,000 square meters, the Beixi Wenyuan Tourist Scenic Area boasts three spectacular waterfalls: Jiudiequan Waterfall, Shimenxi Waterfall, and Shuangxi Waterfall. Their shapes resemble immortals unbuttoning their belts, white silk threads cascading from the sky, and jade dragons drinking from a stream. The roar of springs cascading through rocks is like thunder, while silver streams pour down from secluded pools, creating a dazzling spectacle resembling jade beads and misty mist. Each of these three waterfalls is a breathtaking display of natural beauty, each unique and distinctive. Stone paths and wooden plank roads wind through the mountains, offering breathtaking scenery.
A variety of pavilions and terraces have been built halfway up the scenic area to allow visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery. They are named Zuichun Pavilion, Yuese Pavilion, Yuncong Pavilion, Youxin Pavilion, and Wudui Pavilion. Climbing high and overlooking the distant view, lingering over streams and bridges, visitors can see beautiful green peaks, steep cliffs, lush vegetation, cascading waterfalls, interconnected lotus ponds, interwoven fields, and picturesque villages.
Beixi has a subtropical monsoon humid climate. In spring, various delicate peach blossoms with pink, deep red petals, pure white single petals, etc. bloom in the valley, and the fragrance of peach blossoms is everywhere, which is refreshing. The wooden plank road winds through it, covered with colorful fallen petals, slowly stretching out the romance and leisure of peach blossom bathing, which is suitable for spring travel.

Night visits and light shows are not available at Beixi Wenyuan. The area is best enjoyed during daylight hours, with serene walks and views.
