Hotel Review | The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko

Caught in the rain, we decided to take a break at the Ritz-Carlton Nikko. From the stylish entrance to the lobby lounge, the space is infused with traditional Japanese aesthetics. The garden view through the large windows would be incredibly relaxing on a clear day, but even indoors, the beauty of the surroundings was more than enough to impress.
While the hotel offers an afternoon tea experience, it’s important to note that reservations and timing are key. Since we dropped by unplanned, we opted for a cake set instead. The rich chocolate cake and cheesecake were delightful.
There are more Ritz-Carlton hotels in Japan now, but this one, with its serene Japanese touches, truly stands out. It made me want to stay here someday and fully enjoy all the hotel has to offer. Plus, the drive along the Irohazaka winding road adds to the charm of the trip.
