Nikko 1 day trip from Tokyo 🇯🇵✨

#TravelJapan
If you only have one day but want to experience nature, ancient shrines, and beautiful autumn leaves 🍁, you must try Nikko, a World Heritage site easily accessible from Tokyo 🚆. It's only about a 2-hour train ride from Asakusa Station on the Tobu Railway!

Start your trip at Toshogu Shrine ⛩️, Japan's most luxurious shrine, decorated with intricate gold patterns and featuring the "Three Monkeys" 🐒, symbolizing "seeing, speaking, and hearing no evil." It's a famous symbol of this shrine. ✨ Continue up the mountain to Futarasan Shrine and Shinkyo Bridge 🌉, a popular photo spot with the gently flowing water surrounded by red leaves. 🍂

Then, take a bus up the mountain to Kegon Falls 💦, a nearly 100-meter-high waterfall that's absolutely breathtaking. The surrounding scenery is especially stunning during the autumn foliage season. 🌈 If you have time to spare, Take a stroll around Lake Chuzenji 🚤 for a refreshing and cool atmosphere.

Before heading back, try some Yuba, a local delicacy made from tofu skin. It's incredibly flavorful. 🍜 Then, take the train back to Tokyo in the evening. 🌇

📍A trip that combines nature, history, and delicious food — Nikko is a day trip worth every minute. ❤️
