#Tochigi Nikko Attractions #Kegon Falls

Kegon Falls is a waterfall located in Nikko National Park in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.
It connects to the Otani River, one of the tributaries of the Kinu River.
Kegon Falls is formed because of the high water pressure of Lake Chuzenji
This caused the lake bottom to leak, and the water flowed down the valley to form a waterfall.
Kegon Falls is known as one of the "Three Great Falls of Japan"
Designated as a National Scenic Spot in Japan in 1931
2007 Selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Geological Surveys
