A Temple for an Indian King!๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ

#timetotravel
King Ashoka temple has 1700 years of history located on King Ashoka Mountain in Ningbo. What is interesting about this temple is, it is the only Buddhist temple in China that is named after a King of India and there are plenty important Buddhist relics placed in the Buddhaโ€™s Relics Hall. There are more than 600 rooms, halls and pavilions, covering an area of 14,000 square meters.
There is no entrance fee to get in here but it may have changed already, better double check.
Nearest subway station: Get off at Baozhuang station line 2. There can take the bus or walk to the temple. It's about 15 min walk from the metro station.
