🏘️ I didn't visit Maoli Village, but the popular coffee shop run by a German uncle is here, so you can try it if you come.
🏞️ Maoli Reservoir is surrounded by green mountains. It's very pleasant to walk along the reservoir's boardwalk, enjoy the autumn breeze, and bask in the sun. There are also coffee shops and campsites along the way, so you can take a break if you're tired.
🏑 Mao'ao Village is really beautiful, and I've recommended it in a separate note before.
⛩️ Cicheng was a surprise this time. Everyone thought they could keep walking, so we walked from Mao'ao Village to Cicheng.
Cicheng and Cihu are together, so you can explore them both. You can actually spend a whole day here, and I've introduced it in detail in a previous note.
[Food] There's no shortage of food on this route. The villages are a given, but there are also many fruit farmers selling freshly picked fruits along the reservoir, and you can even pick your own. Cicheng has a wide variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and snacks.
