The scenery of Cihu is vaguely picturesque. The Wupeng boat on Cihu is full of red and green fruits and vegetables. The wine brewed by the old man is full of the harvest of the northern Jiangbei, bringing joy to every tourist.
Cihu was excavated in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. It was called "Kan
Lake", also known as "Derun Lake" and "Puzi Lake". The home of Yang Jian, a famous scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty, was by the lake. Inspired by the story of Dong An, a filial son of the Han Dynasty, he changed "Kan Lake" to "Cihu", and Cihu became famous.
