Dongqian Lake finally has a luxury hotel that 99% of people don’t know about

Why do Ningbo people love Dongqian Lake so much? Probably because it never lacks beautiful scenery, with unique charm whether it’s rainy or sunny. And all the sights are free to enjoy.
Whenever friends from out of town visit, I always choose to take them for a walk around Dongqian Lake, and without exception, they all praise it highly.
But Dongqian Lake lacks good hotels—either they are too old or not well located. This time, I discovered a hotel that is definitely my No.1. The hotel is located next to Hanling Art Museum, built by the water.
The first floor is the hotel’s public area, which can also be called an art gallery, with paintings worth millions right before your eyes, along with a restaurant, tea room, and infinity pool all available. The second floor has only 4 rooms, each offering a 270° lake view, allowing you to watch the most beautiful sunset over Dongqian Lake right from your room. Even the gym has a full lake view.
Spending 24 hours at SUN Hotel feels more like being at a friend’s home. Because there are few guest rooms, the whole space feels more relaxed and comfortable. Sitting by the infinity pool watching the sunset won’t be disturbed, and meeting friends in the audio-visual entertainment room won’t face the awkwardness of disturbing others.
