Not Guizhou! A summer resort just 1 hour direct from Ningbo, hiding cool surprises in the summer

Walking along the creek, the sound of water gradually becomes clear in your ears. The creek after the rain is especially lively, with abundant water that seems to be joyfully running and jumping, weaving through rocks and splashing countless droplets, naturally forming a series of small waterfalls and crystal-clear pools. The shallows are full of playful figures; children step barefoot into the water, their crisp laughter mingling with the babbling stream, creating the most beautiful summer symphony. I deliberately slowed my pace, letting the coolness of the creek seep through my shoes and wash away the heat—this comfort is especially precious in the height of summer. A roadside sign quietly "spoils the plot": this is a filming location for "Sword Snow Stride," no wonder the scene before me looks so familiar—lush green mountains embrace the area, the creek rushes endlessly, and mist swirls around, as if the ethereal scenes from the show have come to life.

Walking another five minutes forward, the sound of water suddenly becomes deafening, and looking up, I am instantly stunned by the sight: a waterfall about 20 meters wide plunges straight down from a cliff over 50 meters high, fiercely crashing onto huge rocks at the pool’s bottom, sending water mist flying everywhere. When sunlight passes through the mist, it refracts a rainbow halo, making the entire waterfall look like a silver dragon soaring into the sky. On the rocks by the pool, the four red characters "Jiulong Feipu" (Nine Dragons Flying Waterfall) appear faintly in the mist, adding a mysterious aura. This is locally known as the "Mala Urine Waterfall." In earlier years, when the water flow was small, it was named for its resemblance to a horse urinating. Now with abundant water, it reveals a completely different majestic momentum.

To the left of the waterfall is a wooden pavilion inscribed with the words "Yanzhulu." Passing through the pavilion to another viewing platform, the mist hits your face and quickly wets your clothes and camera lens. But no one minds—some open their arms to embrace the mist, some hold up cameras searching for the best angle, and many just stand quietly, letting their souls immerse in this natural symphony.
