Qinling Gorge Rafting Travel Guide

Qinling, located in Shaanxi, China, is a renowned tourist destination that attracts thousands of visitors daily for sightseeing and vacations. This guide introduces the Qinling Grand Canyon rafting experience.

Travel Time: Approximately 2 hours under normal traffic conditions.

Rafting Schedule:

• Weekdays (June to August): 2:30 PM
• Weekends in June: Single session at 2:30 PM
• Weekends in July and August: Two sessions at 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM

How to Raft:
Ticket checks start at 2:30 PM. After gearing up, you can enjoy free activities in the water. The official rafting begins at 4:00 PM and lasts approximately 40 minutes, depending on the number of participants.

Raft Types:

• Two-person Raft: Exclusively for adults, offering an exhilarating experience!
• Six-person Raft: Accommodates up to 5 passengers with a sailor steering for enhanced safety. Ideal for families with children and the elderly, creating a warm and secure atmosphere. (Limited availability, so act fast!)

Scenic Area Tips:
• Upon arrival, collect your tickets early to avoid the afternoon crowds.
• The area is surrounded by numerous farm-style restaurants. It’s recommended to grab a bite or bring your own snacks, sunflower seeds, and playing cards. Supplies are limited and pricey in the area, so find a cool spot to relax, eat, and take beautiful photos.
• Pay attention to ticket check times and queue up early to avoid long lines due to the high number of participants.

Free Amenities:

• The site provides helmets, life jackets, and glasses straps to prevent items from falling into the water.
• After rafting, a shuttle bus will transport you back to the entrance (approximately 5 km, a 10-minute ride).
