Nizwa Fort, built in the mid-17th century, is a massive circular fortress with impressive sturdy walls and a 40-meter-high tower.

Inside, you'll find a museum and gardens where you can experience Oman's history and culture. From the top of the tower, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Nizwa city and the surrounding mountain scenery!

The defensive design, featuring narrow slits and traps, showcases the military architectural techniques of medieval Oman.

Nearby, the traditional souq market offers a chance to experience Omani culture and history through silver jewelry, spices, and handicrafts, making it a perfect destination for cultural exploration!

It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes by car from Muscat International Airport, but it's definitely worth the trip!
