What is Isla Incahuasi?
- A coral reef-origin island located in the center of the Uyuni Salt Flats
- Situated at an altitude of 3,656 meters
- A breathtaking spot where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the salt flats from the island, surrounded by giant cacti⛰️
The island's biggest attraction is undoubtedly its massive cacti.
The entire island is covered with cacti that are over 1,000 years old and grow up to nearly 10 meters tall, creating a mysterious and otherworldly landscape.
Additionally, the 360-degree panoramic view from the observation deck at the top of the island is a must-see🌵.
During the dry season, the vast white salt flats stretch to the horizon, while in the rainy season, the mirror-like surface of the lake reflects the sky, offering a magical view. The island's ability to showcase completely different scenery depending on the season is one of its major charms.
🏜️ Dry Season (May–November)
You can access the island by land, and the view of the vast white salt flats from the top of the island is breathtaking.
☂️ Rainy Season (December–March)
The surface of the lake becomes mirror-like, reflecting the sky, but access to the island may not be possible.
